Three arrested, cocaine worth around Rs 60 lakh seized

Three persons were today arrested and one kg cocaine, worth around Rs 60 lakh in international market, was seized from them in Ajni area here.

"Acting on a tip-off, sleuths of Crime Branch raided a paan kiosk and recovered a white powder concealed neatly in plastic bags, which turned out to be cocaine," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Ranjan Kumar Sharma said.

Pramod Rawle (33), Tushar Hande (22) and Mahendra Ladukar (23) were arrested and four mobile phones also recovered from them, he said.
