Three arrested for killing a Nilgai in UP

Police arrested three persons for allegedly killing a Nilgai and recovered its carcass along with a gun from their possession.

The accused, Sarafat Ali, Bhimsen and Bholekhan of village Sona kotwali Sakraoli, were arrested yesterday, police said.

Based on the complaint of one Bhupendra Singh from Nagla Bhikari Kotwali Awagarh againstthe accused, police nabbed the three persons for killing the animal, Station officer Kotwali Awagarh, Sher Singh said.

Further investigations are going on, Singh added.
