Three cases of theft registered in Faridabad

Police today registered three cases of theft from separate areas of the district, with cash and jewellery being reported missing from a house, shop and company premises.

A Sector-9 resident Sundar Jindal, owner of a private company based in Highwayer Chowk, alleged that a thief broke into his office premises and stole a laptop, LCD television, a mobile phone, 25 kg brass objects and Rs 10,000.

In another incident, Rajesh Somani filed a complaint of beng robbed off Rs 8,000 and jewellery worth Rs 90,000 from his residence in Sector-11.

Fathepur Tangha resident Nathu filed a complaint with the police of a robbery at his shop with silver goods worth 4.5 kg, 12 tola gold and Rs 30,000 cash reportedly missing.
 

Investigation in all the three cases is being carried out, and efforts are on to nab the culprits, police said.
