Three dead in bus-truck collision

Three people were killed and 18 others injured today when a bus collided with a mini-truck in Balapur tehsil of Akola district in Maharashtra, police said.

The incident took place around 11.30 AM when an Ambad-bound bus from Akola collided head-on with the mini-truck, carrying a marriage party, they said.

The deceased were yet to be identified, while the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.
