Three die after car slips into gorge

Three persons, including a woman, were today killed when their car slipped into a deep gorge in Pithoragarh district here, police said.

Puranchand (24), Govind Singh (28) and a woman died as their car fell into a 600-meter deep gorge this morning on Dharchula-Tawaghat road here, the state emergency operation centre said.

The identity of the woman has not been ascertained yet, police said.
