Three drowned as car plunges into canal

Two women and a man today drowned as their car plunged into a canal at Naraura barrage here, police said.

The car was on its way from Badaun to Noida when the incident occured this morning, SP (rural) Pankaj Pandey said.

Six persons, hailing from Surajpur village in Noida, were present in the car, he said, adding efforts are underway to fish out the remaining bodies.
