Three persons were awarded life imprisonment by a local court here for the gangrape of a teenage girl, who later committed suicide.
Additional District Judge Brijendra Singh yesterday awarded life sentence to Pintu, Anup and Mintu for raping the 17-year-old girl in Sukhpura area here on April 7, 2011.
After the incident, the girl had committed suicide by setting herself afire.
The court also imposed fine of Rs 50,000 each on the convicts.
