Three held for 'blackmailing' medical officer

Three persons were arrested for allegedly 'blackmailing' a medical officer in the district, police said today.

"The accused posing as scribes demanded money from one Rohan Borse, who is attached to the Nandgaon rural hospital. They also blackmailed him", an official of Nandgaon police station said.

Following a complaint, we apprehended the trio yesterday. A case was registered and a probe was on, he said.
