Three people, including a woman, were today injured, when an armed man allegedly opened fire at them over an old land dispute at Paddi Khalsa village, police said today.
One Sukhdip Singh of the same village under Goraya police station had allegedly fired at them, they said.
The injured -- Bhupinder (35), Rekha (45) and Rajinder (42) -- were admitted to a hospital, the police said.

Surinderpal, a panchayat member of the village, said Bhupinder and his brother Rajinder were sitting outside their house when Sukhdip came and allegedly opened fire at them.
He said that Bhupinder and Sukhdip had an old dispute over a piece of land that had triggered the firing.
He alleged that Sukhdip was in an inebriated condition and indiscriminately opened fire from a pistol.
Goraya police Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Sukhjinder Singh said that a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused who was absconding and a manhunt was launched to trace him.
