Three jailed for 10 years for gangraping minor

A local court here has sentenced three persons to 10 years of imprisonment for gangraping a minor girl.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Davendra Singh also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 each on the three convicts Arvind Yadav, Manoj Kumar and Sanoj Yadav, the prosecution said.

The trio abducted the 17-year-old girl in Gudaripur village of the district on July 15, 2011 and gangraped her. She was rescued after one day of captivity and her medical examination confirmed rape.
