Three persons were killed as two trucks collided head at Kaliachak in Malda district in the wee hours today, a police officer said.
The accident happened on National Highway 34 near Jamalpur area under Kaliachalk police station.
"A front wheel tyre of one of the two trucks got punctured and this could have led to the accident," district SP Arnab Ghosh said.
