A couple were among three persons who were allegedly killed by some robbers in Kannauj district here, police said today.
The incident took place last night in village Nademau when Ratiram (55), his wife Sridevi (50) and their servant Chhangilal (38) were sleeping when the unidentified persons barged into their house, said police.
All the three were attacked by sharp-edged weapons by the robbers when they resisted their loot attempt. The trio died on the spot, police said.
Police is probing the matter. No arrests have so far been made in this connection, they said.
