Three nabbed for betting on IPL, 22 cell phones seized

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested three persons from the Srinagar locality of the city.

Besides the cell phones, a laptop and Rs 32,000 cash was also recovered from them, Additional SP Shrikrishna Kokate said.

The accused have been identified as - Jugalkishor Sharma, Balaji Patil and Arad (full name not known).

Police suspect that the whole betting racket was being operated from Pune and said some more involved in the betting would be nabbed soon.
