Three robbers arrested with factory goods

Three persons were today arrested with nine quintals of zinc slabs and eight kilograms of copper wire stolen from a factory here, police said.

The three arrested have been identified as Irfan, Habbal and Firoze, they said.

Police had received a tip-off that they were going to sell the goods which were stolen from a factory here a week ago.

On interrogation, it was revealed that they are part of an inter-state gang of robbers consisting of 11 members.

With the arrest of another gang member earlier, there are seven members who are still at large, police said.

A search has been initiated for them, they added.
