Three unidentified bodies found in Amethi

Three unidentified bodies, including that of a newborn girl, were found today from different areas of the district.

The body of the newborn baby was spotted near police out post Sankarganj, police said.

The body of a minor girl was found in a canal near Basantpur village while that of an elderly woman from a well near Sarvajit Bazar at Singh purpur village, they said.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem, the police said, adding, a probe was on to ascertain the identity of the victims and circumstances of their death.
