Tight movements in gur prices, end flat in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today following scattered buying support.

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also depicted a steady trend in the absence of worthwhile activity.

Marketmen said demand and supplies remained at a low ebb and volume of business small, keeping prices unchanged.

Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,300-3,400, dhayya Rs 3,500-3,600 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,550, chakku Rs 2,675-3,025, khurpa Rs 2,750-2,825 and Ladoo Rs 2,850-3,050.

Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,000-3,050 and dhayya Rs 3,050-3,100.
