Tin and nickel gains on good demand

Tin and nickel gained at the non-ferrous metal market here today following stockists' buying amidst good demand from alloy industries.

Elsewhere, brass sheet cuttings and copper utensils also recovered marginally owing to renewed demand from industrial users.

While, copper scrap heavy and aluminium ingots eased due to sluggish demand from consuming industries.

Nickel rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 835 from Last Saturday's close Rs 830 and tin moved up by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 1,348 as against Rs 1,345 previously.

Brass sheet cuttings edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 322 as compared Rs 320 previously and copper utensils inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 381 respectively.
 

However, copper scrap heavy and aluminium ingots softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 430 and Rs 157.
