Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami's father-in-law Kaliyannan passed away in his residence near Thevur in Salem district on Sunday following a heart attack.
He was 80.
Palaniswami, who is in his hometown of Edapadi, is leaving for Ammapalayam near Thevur to attend the last rites scheduled for 11 PM, party sources said.
