TN minister inaugurates rain water harvest expo

Tamil Nadu Environment Minister Thoppu Venkatachalam today inaugurated an exhibition at the Collectorate here, relating to necessity of rain water harvesting systems in houses and public buildings.

He wanted people to conserve water and said such harvesting systems will help increase of the ground water, which is depleting day-by-day for abundant use.

Earlier, he inaugurated a rally on rain water harvesting systems at Erode Paneerselvam Park and also in Avalpoondurai village.
