A City Superintendent of Police (CSP) level officer was divested of his charge after he was allegedly caught cheating in Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya's (DAVV) MBA Executive Programme examination.
The accused official who was identified as Neeraj Chourasia, was posted at Central Kotwali area in Indore.
He was divested of his charge and attached to the IG Indore Range office, after he was caught cheating, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rakesh Gupta told PTI today.

DAVV's Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Director P N Mishra informed that Chourasia who appeared in the MBA's Executive Programme's second semester yesterday was allegedly caught cheating in the examination after which he created a ruckus.
Allegedly, Chourasia also refused to sign papers related to the case and left the examination hall in a huff.
However, Mishra said that the case would not weaken in the event of Chourasia not signing case related papers and action would be taken as per rules.
After completing formalities in this regard, IMS has forwarded the case to the DAVV to deal with the matter.
However, Chourasia dismissed allegations related to the cheating case against him.
He claimed that the invigilator and DAVV employees disturbed him due to which he had a dispute with them and left the examination hall after submitting his answer sheet.
