Top Telangana tourism official booked for submitting 'fake'

A case of cheating has been registered against theManaging Director ofTelangana State Tourism Development Corporation for allegedly submitting "fake" degree certificates to secure promotion, police said.

The case was booked on charge of cheating and other relevant IPC sections against TSTDCMD B Manohar following a complaint by some subordinates.

The TNSTDC staff alleged that he had submitted "fake" engineering degree certificates to get promotion, they said.

Manohar was appointed MD of TSTDC in March this year.
