Trade and business climate conducive for investors:TN Minister

Trade and business climate in Tamil Nadu is very conducive for new investors as infrastructure provided by the present government is useful for industrial development, State Environment Minister Thoppu N.D. Venkatachalam has said.

"Erode is noted for its turmeric, edible oil, leather, textile production and sale and IT related sectors.So without any hesitation, investors may invest here and start new industries," the Minister said at a workshop on Global Investors conducted here by the District Industries Centre, yesterday.

The minister handed over Memorandums of Understanding to 36 new entrepreneurs who have invested Rs 22.80 crore for starting seven types of industries.
