A trader was robbed by a group of unidentified men and his son shot at and injured when he resisted the robbery attempt here last night, police said today.
Sector 93 resident Inderjit Sarin, along with his son Amit, was returning from hospital last night when another car hit their car at Sector 11.
Despite the hit, the trader and his son moved on but near Spice Mall that car forced the father-son duo to halt their car. The robbers then took them to an ATM and made them withdraw cash.

They also took away Rs.10,000 cash from the victim and their mobile phones, gold chain and gold ring.
One of the robbers shot at Amit when he resisted the attempt and abandoned the victims on the Yamuna Expressway.
Injured Amit was admitted at Apollo Hospital.
In a separate incident last night, mobile phones and cash of two brothers Harminder and Vicky were taken away by robbers.
The victims, employed in a showroom in Sector 18 market, were returning home last night when the incident took place near sector 64.
