A 4.3-magnitude mild quake jolted the Chinese capital Beijing, Zhuolu County and north China's Hebei Province, the China Earthquake Network Center said.
No casualties were reported so far.
The epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers, it said.
Hebei province is located close to Beijing city.
Tremor was felt in Beijing with the location only about 200 kilometers northwest from the city.
