Tributes paid to G K Moopanar on his 84th birth anniversary

: Welfare Minister P.Rajavelu led the Union Territory of Puducherry in paying tributes at the statue of former AICC General Secretary and veteran Congress leader G K Moopanar on his 84th birth anniversary today.

Local Administration Minister N G Panneerselvam, legislators and volunteers of the ruling AINRC also paid tributes at the statue of the leader.

A team of functionaries of the Pradesh Congress committee, led by PCC leader A Namasivayam, MLA, garlanded the statue of Moopanar.

The leader of the opposition V Vaithilingam and Congress MLAs were among those present.
