Tripura defeated Odisha by 37 runs to register a consolation win in their final inconsequential Group C match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy One-Day cricket tournament, here today.
The win hardly had any effect on the Group C standings as Tripura finished at the bottom with just four points while Odisha is just a rung above with equal number of points.
Today's match was of mere formality as both the sides were out of the knock-out reckoning even before the start of the encounter having lost five consecutive games earlier.
