Truck crushes 2 youths to death, 2 injured

A truck hit four motorcycle-borne youths in separate incidents, killing two on the spot and injuring two others, police said today.

An uncontrolled truck rammed into a motorcycle in Majhgaavan area killing two youths on the spot last night, police said.

The same truck hit two more motorcycle-borne youths near Chavariya village on Gorakhpur-Varanasi highway, they said.

The duo suffered serious injuries and have been admitted to the district hospital.

The truck driver fled away after parking the truck at a roadside eatery, police said.
