Truck mows down two pedestrians

Two persons were killed here today after being hit by a speeding truck while crossing the road, police said.

The incident occurred at Kokhraj area when Amanatullah (30) and Pyarelal (29) were crossing the road and were hit by the truck, police said.

Both of them died on the spot.

The driver has been arrested by the police and a case registered.
