Trucker arrested with poppy in J&K's Reasi

A trucker was arrested and 42 kg of poppy was seized from him in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district on Thursday, police said.

A police party was on patrolling duty at Talli Morh in Reasi when they intercepted the truck, they said.

During the search of the vehicle, 42 kg poppy straw was recovered which was concealed in 39 packets, they said.

The driver-- Mohd Yonus alias Puttu was arrested and a case was registered against him, they said.
