Two arrested for raping mentally-challenged girl

A 20-year-old mentally- challenged girl from Delhi was allegedly raped by two persons, including a cleric, in Kharkhauda area here, police said today.

Huzaifa and Abdul Rashid were arrested yesterday when they were trying to take the girl to Hapur on a motorcycle, they said.

The girl told police they lured her to some unknown place and raped her, they said.

A case has been registered against the duo after conducting a medical examination on the victim, police said.

Huzaifa told police that he is a cleric in a local mosque in Rohta area here, they said.
