Two arrested for smuggling liquor in J-K's Doda

Two persons were arrested for allegedly smuggling liquor in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district Tuesday, police said.

A police party intercepted a Mahindra pickup car at Assar in the district and during its search seized 1,000 bottles of country-made liquor of the Jammu and Kashmir Excise Department, they said.

Driver Bittu Ram and Satish Kumar were arrested, police said and added that a case has been registered against the duo.
