Two arrested for taking bribe in Rajasthan

State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur's Shergarh (Jodhpur) branch manager Rajesh Panwar was caught while he accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from Laxmi Singh and Sumer Singh for opening accounts of farmers, ACB sources said.

On the complaint made by Laxmi and Sumer, the Rajasthan ACB laid a trap to catch the alleged bank manager.

Meanwhile, in Hanumangarh district, a Patwari (revenue official) Chiman Lal was arrested for taking a bribe of Rs 36,000 from one Shiv Prakash for some official work, they added.
