Two auto-lifters active in NCR arrested

Two members of an auto-lifter gang active in the National Capital Region have been arrested and seven stolen motorbikes recovered from them, police said today.

Ghaziabad resident Durgesh and Rajender who belongs to Aligarh were arrested from Indirapuram area late last night, police said.

A countrymade pistol and a knife were seized from them, they said.

The duo, who were on a motorcycle, tried to escape when a patrol team indicated them to stop, according to police.

Patrol team chased and arrested them, they said.
