Two boys kidnapped from Kalwa

In two separate incidents, two minor boys were allegedly abducted from a slum in Kalwa township in Thane, police said today.

The two boys -- Akshay Kishore Vispute (9) and Kiran Ravindra Rahraval (13) -- were abducted by some unidentified persons from the Mafatlal slum area in Kalwa yesterday, police said.

The incidents took place between 11 AM and 8 PM when the boys were playing near their homes, police said, adding that cases have been registered under section 363 (kidnapping) of the IPC.

A search has been launched to nab the abductors.
