Two children killed as cooking gas cylinders explode

Two children were today killed and eight others got injured when some cooking gas cylinders exploded in a house in Kursi area, police said here.

The house caught fire after a gas cylinder leaked in Amarsanda village this morning triggering explosion in other cylinders kept in the kitchen, they said.

Kaushal (8) and Anamika (5) were buried alive under the debris in the incident, police said.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital where condition of three was stated to be serious.
