A teenager and a businessman
allegedly committed suicide in two separate incidents in the city, police said today.
In the first case, Sunny (15) took the extreme step by hanging himself under a tin shed at his home in Daboli West area here last evening. His family members were not present at home at the time of the incident, they said.
The deceased's father said that he had reprimanded his son after an argument in the family which might have led him take his life, they said.
Meanwhile, in the second incident, Pankaj Sharma (28) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Railbazar Faithful Ganj area here yesterday, police said.
A suicide note was recovered from the spot, in which he "held himself" responsible for taking the extreme step as he had suffered losses in his business, they said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is on, police said.
