A 60-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man died due to cold in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh, police said today.
Ramrati in Udwatnagar village and Shiv Darshan in Belwa Baheli village died due to cold conditions last night.
Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem, police said.

Meanwhile, Met officials here said shallow to moderate fog occurred at a few places, with dense to very dense fog occurring at isolated places in the state. However, some parts of Uttar Pradesh experienced clear sunshine in the afternoon.
The temperature fell at night in the Agra division but changed little in the remaining divisions of the state, they said.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Lucknow division, below normal in Gorakhpur and normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
The lowest temperature of 7 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sultanpur, the Met office said.
Dense fog at a few places and very dense fog at isolated places is very likely in the next 24 hours.
