Two persons drowned in a private pond today as their country boat capsized while they were feeding the fish at a village in Krishna district, police said today.
Three persons, including a couple, were in the boat which overturned reportedly as it could not bear their weight, they said.
On seeing the woman falling into the water, her husband rescued her, but he died trying to save the other man, who also drowned as he didn't know swimming, police said.
