Two Dutch climbers killed in Switzerland: police

Two Dutch mountain climbers plunged to their deaths over the weekend as they climbed down the peak of Combin de Valsorey in Switzerland, police have said.
The bodies of the two, aged 38 and 48, were found linked by climbing ropes at the bottom of a ridge on Saturday after plunging some 300 metres to their deaths, the police said yesterday.
Investigators believe the fall happened on Friday as the men were descending the mountain, which is more than 4,000 metres (13,000 feet) high, they added.
