Two engg students among 4 arrested for 'possessing' ganja

Four persons, including two engineering students, were arrested today for allegedly possessing ganja in their house here, police said.

Acting on a tip-off that some students were involved in supplying ganja, police conducted raids in Saravanampatti locality and seized a few packets of ganja from the room of a private accommodation occupied by two thrid year engineering students.

The two students and two others, from Theni, who were in the room, were arrested, police said.

A search was on for one Rajapandiyan, who was allegedly supplying ganja to the students, police added.
