Two found dead in Thane

Two unknown men were found dead in

mysterious circumstances here separately, police said today.

According to PSI AP Patil of Kasa police station, a man aged around 45-50, was found murdered in Modgaon village here yesterday.

The body, which bore multiple wounds was found abandoned in a half-burnt state, they said.

Police suspect that assailants tried to burn the body after dousing petrol on him to destroy evidence.

In another incident, a youth aged between 20-25 was found dead on the roadside in village Sutrakar-Kakad Pada yesterday with injuries on his face and other parts, PSI A M Mulla of Talasari police station said.
 

Police have registered offences under sections 302 and 201 of the IPC have launched a manhunt for the killers.
