Two held for extorting money in Mizoram

Two cadres of the Hmar People's Convention (Democrats) were arrested from Kolasib town for allegedly extorting money, police said today.

Lalengsanga (36) and Gabriel Tau (26) were arrested for extorting money from the president of Saihapui 'K' village council yesterday.

Both men belonged to the HPC (D) led by Lalhmingthanga Sanate, police said.
