Two held with arms and ammunition in Malda

Two persons were arrested with arms and ammunition from Amrity, 12 km from here, the police said today.

Acting on an information, the police apprehended the duo last night, Superintendent of police Arnab Ghosh said in a statement.

The arms and ammunition recovered were one double barrel gun and three improvised fire arms besides one 12 bore bullet and two cartridges of .303 rifle, he said.
