Two injured in celebratory firing

Two women were injured allegedly during celebratory firing in a wedding here, police said.

The incident occurred during a wedding last night when members of the 'baraat' were firing in the air and the bullets hit Meenakshi and Suman, police said.

They have been admitted to a private hospital in Modinagar, they said, adding, police are investigating the matter.
