The PDS dealer Nagendra Mochi was shot dead by Randhir Yadav when the mob cought hold of and deat up severerly in Katauna village, Khushroopur police station in-charge Anil Kumar said.

Yadav died on the spot, Kumar said adding both bodies have been sent for post-mortem.

An investigation was going on in the matter, the police officer said.
