Two killed in blast in quarry

At least two labourers were killed and another injured in an explosion at a stone quarry in Odishas Malkangiri district, police said today.

Police said the explosion took place last night when a battery was being connected for blasting a dynamite at the quarry.

The dead were identified and the injured admitted to Malkangiri district headquarters hospital here, said Malkangiri SDPO Pratik Singh.
