Two persons were killed after a car they were travelling in collided with a truck carrying sand on the Kota-Jaipur Highway here, police said.
The deceased were identified as Amit Singh Jadon (35) and Shri Nivas (36), Hindoli SHO Ajeet Meghwanshi said.
The duo were headed to Kota last night from Jaipur when the truck coming from opposite direction overturned, leaving them trapped, he said.
An FIR has been registered under section 304 of IPC against the driver who managed to flee, he said adding, the bodies of the duo were handed over to the family after post-mortem.
