Two mountaineers from Bengal climb Mt Lohtse for first time

The two mountaineers, Dipankar Ghosh representing Angan Chaariye, Serampore and Rajib Bhattacharyya from Beas Mountaineering Club, Sodepur accompanied by two sherpas, Karma and Mga Tashi reached the summit at 7:15 am, their clubs stated in a release.

The team which reached the base camp on April 14, had to overcome severe windy conditions and made Camp 3 on May 23 after several attempts.

They reached the summit camp yesterday.
