Two NDFB(S) terrorists apprehended

Two NDFB(Songbijit) militants, including a top leader, were apprehended by the Army from Hadan Bazar in Assam's Chirang district today, a defence spokesman said.

On specific information provided by the intelligence, troops of the Red Horns Division of the Army apprehended the two NDFB(S) extremists along with a rifle and ammunition, the spokesman said.

The apprehended ultras were identified as Bathiram Goyari, number four in NDFB(S) hierarchy and Selma Owari alias Balbari Hadan, the spokesman added.
