Two Nepali citizens held with brown sugar

Two Nepali citizens were today arrested with 250 grams of brown sugar by a team of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) from Naya Tola under Raxaul police station in Bihar's East Champaran district.

SSB comandant of 47th batallion, Sonam Chering said that after getting an information, a SSB team arrested two Napali citizens identified as Sone Pandit and Ramesh Prasad, residents of Bara district of Nepal.

Chering said 250 grams of brown sugar were recovered from them.

He said the cost of the contraband in the International market is believed to be around Rs 25 lakh.

Both the arrested persons have been handed over to Raxaul police by the SSB team after interrogation.
